Please also email me the choice of colour for your school hockey team jacket by Sunday night as well, same time as stated below. If i do not receive any response by then for the jacket and t-shirt, i assume that no one is interested. We will abandon the idea of having hockey t-shirt and jacket then. I would appreciate if you could pass this message around. It is a team responsiblity to disseminate important information from the blog to your team members.
thank you.

Two mice fell into a vessel of cream.
Overwhelmed by the difficult task of getting out,
the first mouse gave up and drowned.
But the other mouse was determined to fight on,
and started thrashing and churning as fast as it could.
The milk soon turned into butter, and it climbed out.
What is the moral of this story?
Two mice, one situation, two different outcomes.
Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you
do with what happens to you.
Ultimately in life, your ability to do well depends on
what you focus on.
Focus on the difficulty, and you will soon lose the nerve
and verve to fight on. But focus on learning and progressing,
and you will eventually find enough courage to beat
the odds.
Hang in there!

Learning never ends.Sec 3 and Sec 2 players, please think about the skills you would like to
pick up from now until your next tournament. For the Sec 2s., it will be
the C division tournament in July 2006 and for the Sec 3s, by Dec 2006.
Think about some tackles, dribbling, dummy, passing, hitting, pushing etc
skills you have seen and would like to master. Learning doesn't end with
the end of a tournament. Please spend time to reflect on how you can be a
more effective, skilful player. Think about the times when you missed a tackle,
a scoring opportunity, when you failed to get pass a player - what types of skills
do you need to overcome such obstacles during the games?
It is by spending time to reflect, to evaluate and to learn new skills that you can
progress to become a better player with each new season. Otherwise, you will
stagnate and remain the same level this season and the next season and
the future seasons to come.
I'd like to hear your goals and skills you would like to learn. Please write it down
on a foolscap paper with your name and class by 22nd April 2006 (friday)
Sec 2s - please hand in your reflection to Elizabeth.
Sec 3s - please hand in your reflection to Ying Ying.
